Supporting inclusive and climate-focused lending in Ecuador

ILX participated in financing, with a B-loan participation, in a subordinated loan from IFC to one of the largest banks in Ecuador. Proceeds of the loan are split equally between 50% for on-lending to women-led micro-enterprises and 50% for financing Blue and Climate Smart Agribusiness, currently a nascent but highly underserved sector in Ecuador.
