Summary Remuneration Policy

The Manager pays salary levels in conformity with market practice that are comparable for the positions considered. The reference markets can be the Netherlands financial sector, the development finance industry internationally, or other relevant comparable markets. The Manager may include secondary benefits and total compensation when comparing remuneration structures across markets.

Employees and other persons working under the responsibility of the Manager, including but not limited to Identified Staff, are currently not entitled to any form of variable remuneration on the basis of this Remuneration Policy. Members of the Supervisory Board shall only be eligible to receive fixed remuneration.

Any remuneration awarded under the Remuneration Policy will be consistent with requirements of Article 5 of the Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (the SFDR). This consistency is safeguarded as follows:

  • rewards that encourage excessive risk-taking are avoided; and
  • the Manager’s internal procedures for the integration of sustainability risks will be adhered to when determining the remuneration for all persons working under the responsibility of the Manager.
