Strengthening inclusive SME finance in Uzbekistan

Hamkorbank is a mid-sized bank in Uzbekistan with a strong focus on retail clients and MSMEs. The 9th largest bank in the country, it serves over three million customers through an extensive national network.

ILX participated in financing arranged by FMO to support the bank in its on-lending to women- and youth-led MSMEs, with 100% of the proceeds going towards these target segments. The financing enables increased access to credit for these underserved segments, supporting entrepreneurship and contributing to more inclusive economic development in Uzbekistan.
