Strengthening inclusive climate finance in Armenia

ILX participated with a B-loan originated by the IFC to a bank in Armenia. The bank has a nationwide presence offering a wide range of services and products for individuals, MSMEs and corporates.

The facility supports the bank’s lending to MSMEs, with at least 50% of proceeds directed to eligible climate finance projects and at least 25% to women-led MSMEs. This enables expanded access to finance in priority segments, while supporting more sustainable economic activity in Armenia.
