Promoting energy-efficient fabric manufacturing in Bangladesh

Ananta Group is one of the largest exporters of ready-made garments in Bangladesh, producing a wide range of apparel such as jeans, suits, sweaters, lingerie, activewear, and outwear.

Through its participation alongside ADB, ILX is supporting the development of a new knit fabric factory in Bangladesh. The new factory is expected to be certified as a green building for energy and resource efficiency and will utilise advanced automated, energy-efficient machinery. The project is expected to create around 200 jobs during construction and 1,000 jobs during operations, contributing to increased employment and supporting more sustainable manufacturing in Bangladesh’s garment sector.
