Expanding inclusive and green finance in Mongolia

ILX participated in a syndicated loan originated by FMO to Xacbank JSC Mongolia. The participation is ILX’s second transaction to Xacbank and the proceeds of the financing are aimed at on-lending to underserved SMEs in the Women/ Youth/ Agriculture/ Rural segments, thereby contributing to increased financial inclusion in Mongolia. Additionally, at least 20% of the facility will be used to finance green initiatives, contributing to reduced emissions and more sustainable economic activity in the country.
