Advancing sustainable mobility solutions in Colombia

ILX participated in a syndicated loan from IDB Invest to one of Colombia’s largest vehicle lending companies. The company specialises in the operational leasing of vehicles and machinery, offering a diverse range of services, including traditional and short-term leasing, agricultural leasing, construction and industrial equipment leasing, leasing for individuals and SMEs, and used vehicle sales.

The transaction supported the company’s procurement of battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicles to be leased to firms and individuals in Colombia. This allowed the borrower to continue expanding the share of vehicles with a smaller carbon footprint in its fleet, contributing to the development of e-mobility in Colombia. The transaction has since been terminated.
