
Hans Peter is a highly experienced development economist at international financial institutions, including the IMF, EBRD and IFC. From 2017-21 he was Vice-President of the Economics and Private Sector Development Sector at the IFC, where he was responsible for designing strategies on development impact and climate goals, gender equality and low-income countries. Prior to IFC, he was Managing Director, Corporate Strategy at the EBRD from 2007-2016, where he designed corporate strategies that balance returns and impact and conduct policy dialogue that improved investment conditions in investing countries. He currently is Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics in the Grantham Research Institute.
