Thursday 25th September, 12:30 – 18:00, Move, Amsterdam

Overview
Mobilising Private Capital to invest in Sustainable Growth and the Climate Transition in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) has become a central focus among global development finance stakeholders. Especially in the new geopolitical reality with reduced development assistance and international trade frictions.
Since its start in 2022, ILX has established itself as the leading asset manager in the growing Development Finance asset class and demonstrated that co-investment with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) provides attractive, stable and diversified returns which are directly aligned with the SDG and Climate goals. The ILX now manages USD 1.7 billion on behalf of Dutch and Danish pension funds and has invested in over 65 high-impact projects in 24 countries, partnering with all the leading Multilateral Development Banks and DFIs
The ILX Forum will bring together key stakeholders from across the development finance and institutional investor ecosystem to discuss the opportunities and challenges of investing in this growing asset class across EMDEs. The emerging market regions provide the greatest long-term growth prospects and require significant investment in support of sustainable economic growth, and key climate and energy transition objectives. The ILX Forum builds on the ILX Fund’s experience and aims to catalyse further engagement in this key development finance investment strategy, bringing together practitioners, projects, and institutional investors.
Attendees
The ILX Forum will host 150 invited senior representatives from the global MDB, DFI community, leading European pension fund investors, policymakers and academics.
